Q: Do I need to pay to create an account?
A: Creating an account is free, however you will be required to purchase a subscription before you can begin generating reports.
Q: What happens if I am dissatisfied with my subscription?
A: If you are unhappy with your annual subscription you can cancel anytime within the first 30 days, and we will refund you the subscription cost, minus the cost of the first month. We do not offer any refund for the weekly or monthly subscription.
Q: Where does Occu Collect get its data from?
A: Occu Collect uses the data from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, the printed and the electronic files of the Selected Characteristics of Occupations, the Occupational Outlook Handbook, the Occupational Information Network, and the Occupational Requirements Survey. These are all publications of the Department of Labor through either the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Employment and Training Administration, and/or the through a grant to the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
Q: How reliable is your data?
A: All our data provided is sourced directly from government databases, which means the reliability is as good as it can get. We will be consistently updating as new data is published.
Q: How many reports can I run?
A: There is no limit to the number of reports you can run during your subscription period.

Q: How do I search for an occupation?
A: After selecting the desired report, you can use the search bar to type a DOT #, SOC Code, Occupation Title, or Title Group. As you type it will have autofill options below. You can also use the drop-down, on the right side of the search bar to browse for the desired occupation.
Q: What platforms can I use this service on?
A: Our service is cross-browser compatible and is responsive. This means all modern browsers should be able use our service and mobile phones should be able to automatically resize everything accordingly in order to be used on the phone or mobile device.
